Executive Chef Sergio Garcia is the driving force behind Taste This! Catering.  With over 15-years experience, Chef Sergio’s road to the kitchen has been anything but conventional.  He jokes that one day he will enter a room amidst a cloud of smoke and a theme song.  For those that know him, we know he is just looking to relive his younger rock-n-roll days. 

After moving to Denver to fulfill his dream of making music and becoming a famous drummer, Chef Sergio began his culinary journey to support his musical career.  He found he brought to the kitchen the same creativity and passion he had always brought to his music, but now the kitchen was his stage.

Chef Sergio had many demanding teachers along the way who taught him a love of food and the attention to detail to deliver the best culinary experience.  In the end, his experience and training led him to work for one of the largest catering companies in the country where he had the opportunity to cook for The Pope and many of Denver’s elite. 

To share his love of food, Chef Sergio offers cooking classes on a regular basis.  For his students who have taken his class, they know when they hear the saying that defines him, “Take It Easy!,” that class is in session and being taught by one of Denver’s best.
